In a major development for Mathematics aspirants across Punjab, the state government has announced a 5-year age relaxation for the Lecturer Cadre examination applicable to all categories — general, reserved, and every other category without exception.
The relaxation has been granted in recognition of the fact that no Lecturer Cadre examination has been conducted in the state for approximately five years. Candidates who exceeded the standard age limit during this period are now eligible to apply again, significantly expanding the pool of aspirants eligible to compete for these posts.
