The Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) has officially released the cut-off percentage for the CSIR-UGC NET June 2025 Examination, held on 28th July 2025. The cut-off has been published for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professor eligibility, and Ph.D. Admission across various science disciplines.

• The exam was conducted on 28th July 2025.
• Cut-offs are declared separately for JRF (Category-1), Assistant Professor (Category-2), and Ph.D. Admission only (Category-3).
• Cumulative marks from Part A, B, and C were considered.

Subject-Wise JRF Cut-Off (Category-1):

• Chemical Science: UR – 50.75%, OBC – 43.75%
• Earth Science: UR – 61.29%, OBC – 53.13%
• Life Science: UR – 51.50%, OBC – 43.75%
• Mathematical Science: UR – 53.375%, OBC – 43.375%
• Physical Science: UR – 51.188%, OBC – 43.375%

Assistant Professor Eligibility (Category-2):

• Mathematical Science: UR – 48.038%, OBC – 39.038%
• Life Science: UR – 46.350%, OBC – 39.375%
• Physical Science: UR – 46.069%, OBC – 39.038%

Ph.D. Admission Only (Category-3):

• Mathematical Science: UR – 38.375%, OBC – 33.00%
• Physical Science: UR – 36.50%, OBC – 33.00%
• Life Science: UR – 38.25%, OBC – 33.00%

Key Notes:

• No separate cut-off for Parts A, B, and C.
• Minimum benchmark: 33% (General, EWS & OBC) and 25% (SC/ST & PwD).
