Eligibility
To be eligible for the position of HPSC PGT, candidates need to satisfy certain educational qualifications. Here are the key eligibility criteria applicable to all applicants:
1. Candidates must have Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the languages in Matriculation or Higher, or they should have completed 10+2/BA/MA with Hindi as one of the subjects.
2. It is essential for candidates to have qualified in the HTET (Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test) or STET (School Teacher Eligibility Test).
3. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree (M.A. / M.Sc/ M.Com, etc) in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. For Computer Science, a higher requirement is specified, with candidates needing to have passed masters with 55% marks.
4. Additionally, candidates should possess a B.Ed degree from a recognized university.
5. A consistent and good academic record is also a prerequisite for candidates applying for the HPSC PGT position.
