CSIR-UGC NET June 2026: Provisional Answer Key Challenge Begins
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Provisional Answer Keys, Question Papers, and recorded responses for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 examination. Candidates who are not satisfied with any answer in the provisional answer key can submit a challenge through the official website.
The Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 examination was conducted on 17 and 18 July 2026 in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
Important Dates
The Answer Key Challenge facility is available from 16 August 2026 to 18 August 2026, up to 11:00 PM. Candidates must also complete the payment for their challenges before the deadline.
Challenge Fee
Candidates are required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₹200 per question challenged. The payment can be made through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
How to Challenge the Answer Key
Candidates can follow these simple steps:
- Visit the official CSIR-UGC NET website.
- Click on “Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key.”
- Log in using your Application Number and Password.
- View your Question Paper and recorded responses.
- Select the Question ID and Option ID you wish to challenge.
- Upload supporting documents, if required.
- Review your selected claims carefully.
- Click on “Save Claim and Pay Fee.”
- Complete the payment of ₹200 per challenged question.
The challenges submitted by candidates will be reviewed by a panel of subject experts. If a challenge is found to be correct, the Answer Key will be revised accordingly. The final result will be prepared based on the Final Answer Key after reviewing all valid challenges.
Candidates are advised to carefully review their claims before making the payment, as modifications may not be allowed after successful submission.
